Hi again, currently i have some trouble (and i am not alone) to establish a
preferred root replica server for a domain dfs root.

Hi groups, i am trying to create a little app used to force the use of a
specified DFS root referral. I have seen people advising that it could be
done, However i am trying to do wrap this function in VB.
However i always get error 2662 " There is no DFS name whose entry path
matches the input Entry Path"

I've inherited a W2000 SP4 AD network that has a DFS FRS issue
When users connect to the DFS share - they don't always connect to
their local share but those in other AD sites - seems like an old
chestnut but I've run all the fixes and no joy !
All the DNS and AD Site info is correct
DS is only running ...
