Remote Assistance not working

Hello everyone...I'm trying to use Remote Assistance to fix some things on my
girlfriend's computer. Getting the error message: "A Remote Assistance
connection could not be established because the DNS name of the remote

Remote Desktop

I work from my XP PC on a remote XP PC. After configuring the Remote Desktop
Local resources -> Local devices, I can see my local drives in the remote PC
but I can't copy&paste.After seleceting a file and "copy" The "Paste"
option in the target folder is disabled.
Is there any solution to that?

Incomplete display

I am using Remote Desktop 6 and it seems to work OK. However the remote
computer does not receive the complete graphics. When I run a program
(remotely) that has a graph to display RD leaves sections of the grid off.

RDP Does not respond from workstation.

I have one workstation XP SP3 that does not respond to RDP request from any
machine. The RDP client just blinks when trying to attach.
I have taken the following step to trouble shoot.
Using Port Query the port responds. 3389
netstat -a shows the port being listened to. 3389

Is there a way to disallow RDP disconnect and force a logoff instead?
I have a couple of users in my Win2003 domain that are simply too lazy to
log off when working remotely via RDP to their workstations, so they

This user is behind a NAT firewall. It looks like if I use windows' remote
desktop, the firewall have to be configured to forward a port, right? If
