I am using Kate's video cutter 3.0. There are quality problems. The first cut i made was of 6 minutes of a 14 minute 211meg avi file and the result was 1.3 gig. I checked mpeg for output and took the defaults for mpg under 'advanced options' and the output was still an avi file but the size was 34 meg. ...
