Unable to install 19 diffarent updates

I have Windows XP and have installed Service pack 3. But after rebooting the
computer I wanted to install the rest of the updates avaliable. I can dowload
them but when I try to install them, I get an error message: Unable to
install the updates.
Does anybody know what the problem is? ...

Deleting a corrupted .dat file

My antivirus software detected a trojan in a .dat file, and couldn't
