Suddenly my printers stopped working, all of them, and the scanner, my
system started to bog down and I got SPOOLSV.EXE errors. I did CheckDisks, I
did Mem Checks, I scanned for Viruses and Trojans, cleaned up the Registry,
did a CHKDSK /R from the XP install CD... nothing! Then I did ...

Windows cannot connect to printer

We have several XP workstations that are having problems connecting to
networked printers. It doesn't matter if they are HP or Sharp printers in our
case. When you try to add the printer and type in the server name and then

Urgent help with BUDxx.tmp files

After I have updated the unidrv.dll to 0.3.6001.22116 I now have users
complain that printing after a few days gets very slow. I have found since
the upgrade when I print word documents some BUDxx.tmp files get created in
the following path C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 the xx part

printing web pages

when printing web pages the page runs over the right side. How can you
fix this?
When printing web pages if there is an image/photo that will not fit on
the page the next page prints but the image does not. How can you fix

I had the same problem. I think it's because I had the Canon MX850 Series Fax selected as opposed to the Canon MX850 Series Printer. Try switching printers in the last step of the process to see if that does anything.

Can't open printer and fax folder in control panel

Hi,
I'm using XP Professional, plenty of ram etc. everything works except when I
go control panel > printers and fax when I click on the folder icon it won't
open and it freezes the control panel and I have to use task manager to shut
the control panel down.
All other folders in the control panel open OK ...
