a boot defragment " . So I went to
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\
BootOptimizeFunction " , to " Change the Enable string value to Y if it is
not already ...

Defrag has disappeared from Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tool

Brand new build, Windows XP 64 bit, less than a week old. I just finished
installing the first trunkload of Windows updates and was in the process of
installing Service Pack 2 when I happened to notice that my defrag had
disappeared. I know it was there because I ran it once earlier this week.
Now what? ...

my computer shuts down and doesnt come on for about 3-6 hrs sometimes when it
starts up it says"firmware has detected a CMOS battery failure" whats up????? ...

Keep getting same message at start up.

Every time I resart my computer I get a message that tells me that it is
unable to locate the sql dumper file. I am not positive when it started but
I think it began after installing the Microsoft office professional 2007. I
don't think it is disrupting me in any way but I would like to fix it.

this is an error message i get on start up. it states the is a missing module.
i am also getting another error message error 1058. this is a message for
auto downloads. if have carefully followed all mocrosoft tips (3times) to
correct this problem with no positive results.
any ideas on one or both. ...

I tried Google for any help on the following topic, but got no definite
results so I thought I would try here.
I used to have Ad-Aware, SUPERAntiSpyware and AVG 8 on my system, but I
got rid of AVG 8 because it took forever to run, (21/2 hrs), and installed
Avast 4.8 Home Edition.
