PC crash, can a Restore from booting from the CD?

delete temp files rundll32.exe not responding

deleting temp files doesn't quit running. Turning off Win XP causes several
apps to end--except rundll32.exe. I get message it is not responding. I
click on ending it.
I can restart ok. Same thing happens again. I can find the file doing a
search. If the file is messed up--how do I replace it?

Startup and memory problems

Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the
active directory (0x8007054b). The specified domain either does not exist or
could not be contacted.
Enrollment will not be performed.

Remote Desktop in Server 2003 domain

Remote desktop only seems to work on the server. We have XP Pro
workstations and cannot seem to connect from one workstation to another.
Remote desktop and remote assistance has been checked in the system
properties.
