Pressing F8 will not even open Safe Mode.

When I try to accept a internet appointment and post it to Outlook Calenda
(2000) I get the folllowing error message: can't open: c\documents and

Launch icons disappear

Every time I boot up some of my launch icons which used to show are gone. Some do but
after a while they all disappear except the server connection icon.
I installed the latest Google update and now it has to be reinstalled each time in order
for the icon to appear on the deskto ...

I am trying to fix an image of an XP pro SP3 drive which has been damaged by
overfilling. It is a 20GB image now residing on a 250GB drive. I have used
Win7 to check the contents of the drive, run chkdsk and defrag, but when I
put the drive into the original computer I get "error loading operating
system".

DUE TO CERTAIN REASONS MY SYSTEM HAS BECOME VERY SLOW TO RESPOND TO EVERY
