internet gets slower with use

I'm using WinXP SP3 with cable internet connected directly to my computer (no
router). Basically, I can use internet for a few hours, then pages start to
load slower and slower to the point where it doesn't load at all anymore. I
then have to reboot Windows to get speed back to normal. Also this doesn't

Lost all DNS capability after SP3 update

I loaded SP3 and now I cannot get any DNS functionality. I can ping an
address, but not use a WWW address. I am also getting an error in the
comsetup.log listing as OC_COMPLETE_INSTALLATION

Wireless does not work with security after SP3 installation

Network 2 printers on 1 WinXP and 1 Mac OS 10

Why ,or is it necessary to have a network domain user account setup on an
xp/2000 client PC? On our Server 2003 network, any user can log on to a
client with a valid network domain user account even if that user account has
not been set-up on that client.
