2 wireless connections showing?

Advent laptop connected wirelessly to 3com wireless modem/router.
It shows 2 x 3com connections, one as being WPA-SK and passworded which is
how I set it up but it the other as being open and unprotected.
The only other option to change it is to WEP.
It also shows signal strength as a bit lower on this so I'm a ...

HI, I have a problem in which I can not see folders in one of my computers on
a home network.
In my case I have 5 computers connected via a central hub. The network is a
hardwire lan, and I also have a WAN for my work laptop.
4 computers run XP Pro and 1 run Vista, an all run fine.

Do you know if you have Simple File Sharing turned on? It is turned on by default, so you actually would have to turn it off. This is the official description:

Got a problem accessing some files from my win xp pro sp2 to vista home.
Everything seems to be setup correctly. I'm sharing the hard drives between
machines i can access the shared folders on both machines. When i try to
access through the users on the accounts to get to the desktop files it
