video keeps stopping

When I try to play a music video the video plays for a few seconds and then
stops only to start a few seconds later. When it does play everything looks

MP11 and ripping

This is the same problem that is documented by DOMINO under the thread "Media
Player 11". MP11 will rip 0ne CD and then dies. Like DOMINO, I've tried
everything I can think of doing. Once the CD is ripped and you insert the
next, MP11 reads it a an unknown CD and then goes into a "Not Responding"

My Music Edits Needed

I'm copying my 300+ CD's into My Music using Roxio Easy Creater. When I have
a CD that is not recognized it just inserts Unknown under "Artist" and under
"Album" and "Title". I can manually edit the titles by using Rename, but is
there any way to edit Artist and Album? Otherwise my info is not going to be

Track Playback Time Question

How do I make it so that when I start to play a song/other media file, the
time at the bottom of Windows Media Player starts at 0:00 instead of counting
down from the time given (i.e. 3:42, 3:41, etc.)? It randomly changed itself
for no reason yesterday, and I haven't found how to change it back. ...

thanks Jerry. I've tried that one. Anyhow, I found out that the real
reason why the sound card is greyed out -- it's because all the system
drivers (in the Services) were disabled. I don't know how it happened
but turning them all manually failed for some reason -- not until I used
my back up of the registry f ...

I recently installed Windows Vista on my HP laptop which previously had XP.
Not sure if this has anything to do with this or not but any music played
starts normally and then begins slowing down, distorting and crackling.
