dvd burning problems

hi,
im trying to burn some music videos onto a blank dvd+r disc.
when i put the blank dvd disc in, it doesnt recognize it.
it still says "insert blank recordable disc" on the bottom.
ihear it spin, but still nothing.
i use roxio and burning music using a cd-r disc works fine.
Any suggestions?

I am using Audacity but with little success..My current problem is:
I don't know where to retrieve audio tapes I record to the hard drive...Its
analog and the computer can't read tracks of course..To boot the program
does not ask me where I wish to store or type tracks for these tracks..What

WMP10 rip to .wav?

Ok, Simple question. I've been converting LP albums to digital format. It was
recommended that I convert them to .wav files to insure the best audio
quality. So to insure the best audio quality of my store bought CDs I would

Folders going back to default view on their own

I have similar problem - I read the microsoft link but even more of a calamity.
I used CCleaner and removed the uninstall folders from the windows directory
and I had a trojan virus that was in the system restore so I switched it off
rebooted and deleted the system restore files as well.

Digitized LPs with wrong album art (WMP10)

I'm been using Roxio EMC8 to convert my old LP albums to digital format. Once
converted to wma files I use the find album info to obtain the proper data.
If the data doesn't match my info, then I use a digital photo of the front of
the actual album and placed them in a folder called "Album Info". I also

DRM error w/ new SP3

So, I installed SP3 RC1 and now every time I try to play any DRM protected
music through windows media player, WMP crashes. Anyone else have this
problem?
Didn't have this problem until SP3... I thought it was supposed to FIX
problems, not create them? ...

System stops responding

Windows Media Player 9 was installed on my computer when I purchased it in
2003. Windows XP is the operating system. When I try to copy a CD to the
system, it will stop responding after copying one or two songs. Do I need to

Creating DVD

I want to transfer a YouTube video onto a blank DVD so that I can play the
DVD on a portable DVD player. I have downloaded the video into My Documents
and then onto a DVD but can't get the player to recognize the new DVD. Any
suggestions?
