2.1 video transition and effect problem

About a week ago, several video transition and effects appeared in my
collections. I assumed they were some upgrade. But, when I use them,
there's an X across the frame. Even publishing the video didn't remove the
Xs. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?

No sound when saving to DV-AVI File

My movie saves fine (with audio) when saving to the WMV format. There's no
sound, though, when I save it to the DV-AVI file format. What's up? ...

The final movie shows different colors than the source files (AVI)

I create active screen captures with HyperCam 2, which creates AVIs that I
compile into a movie with Windows Movie Maker.
When I view the original AVI in WMP, it looks fine. When I view the AVI in
Movie Maker, it looks fine.
But after I make it into a movie, the color yellow appears as orange.

MM 2.1 suddenly can no longer capture sound

I've been using MM 2.1 (SP2 version) for about 8 months now. Prior to this
past week, hadn't used it in a couple months. Prior to last week, was
always able to capture video (via USB connection) from my Sony camera.

DVD does not play on DVD player

Hello,
I made a DVD of my pictures including music background utilizing Windows
Movie Maker. The DVD plays fine on my computer using Widows Media Player but
it will not play on regular Sony or other DVD players so that I can watch it
on TV.
Please tell me what to do! Did I make the DVD in the wrong way? If ...

Audio Problems!! Help

I have edited a video in which I did the following:
Copy and pasted clips to story board and muted each clip's audio.
Then added a clip in which I left the audio level un muted.
The I added audio in thhe for of music (files ihave used in the past on
othher videos).
Saved to my desk top and all was great!!
