Importing Video

I am trying to import video that is stored on my computer as an MPEG file
into MM. When I select the file, the download progress bar appears and
counts down the seconds and percentage left. It then stops at 101% and
freezes. I'm forced to control+alt+delete to end the program. I can't find
an easy-to-use ...

installing codec

For the first time I wanted to make a movie. When i tried to import a video
file this is what it said. "cannot be imported because the codec required to
play the file is not installed on your computer". would have thought that
this 'codec' would have been installed when they put in movie maker? where do
I go ...

Playing back a .mpg file slower

Gurus,
I have a .mpg movie clip which plays a little faster than I would like. I
want to slow it down some, or at least do some frame by frame control. How
can I do this?

Audio Sound in DVD

I was finally able to burn a DVD but have a few questions. First- Some of the
audio I needed to use had to come from video files, which I dragged into the
audio file section of MM. There were lots of clips and when it played back in
DVD you could hear the transition between clips. It wasn't a continuos audio. ...

Capture from same computer screen

Can movie maker be used to capture from the same computer screen (or second
monitor) that Movie Maker is running on. Like Camtasia? I have browsed the
help and it seems to only talk about connecting and capturing from external
devices.

need help. after saving movie to computer or flash drive it plays with all
kinds of wierd rainbow colors and you cant really see anything. i tried some
different clips and same thing.not sure if its a codec problem. ...

Larger view only - songs skipping

Hi there,
so i have finished creating my movie (I used all photos) but when i preivew
the movie on a full screen the music will "hang" or skip for a brief second
on the photos with a title on the selected clip.
This only happens when the screen is are larger view and only on the clips
with a title on it.
