Extracting Audio

Greetings! Is there a way to extract or "rip" audio from an AVI file using
Moviemaker, then add it back again? I successfully slowed down the video
part, muted the soundtrack so it doesn't play at half speed, but I'd like to
overlay the original audio twice, end to end. I was able to do it using

Movie maker 2 crashes on launch / Qedit.dll involved

MM2 has been working fine on two computers for 3 years. But now when
launching MM2 I get an immediate error message
"Windows Movie Maker a rencontré un problème et doit fermer..." (WMM got a
problem and must close...)
The error report associated whith the message states :

Hi all, i´m making a AMV video on windows movie maker, i finished it and it
plays the preview perfectly, but when i transform the video into avi, the
video plays until certain scene an then everything in the video goes black,
but the music still playing, and the credits are the only thing that shows up

Hi Did anyone ever figure out a solution to the freezing up of a slide show
after editing. Was working on a slide show with 250 pics and 5 songs, and it
didn't play back or let me edit anymore after saving and coming back to it.

Ok, I took a bunch of videos of my daughter. Converted them to avi's. Now I
am trying to import them so i can make it into one large movie with
automovie. But it will not let me import more than one video into the
