What codec is missing when I try to import an avi (converted from mov)??
I have some avi´s from my camera and some mov´s from a friends camera.. now
I want to edit them into one video. I cannot import mov-files so I vonverted
them into avi´s using "Pazera Free MOV to AVI-Software"... now the Movie
maker ...

With Vista Movie Maker, I try to access Mpeg2 files imported from a Sony
handycam. But Movie Maker recognizes the files only as audio (in file
properties), so I can't see the video. How can I fix this?

I read the instructins... I'm new at this , All I want to do is take a video

For some reason movie maker won't letme import any sort of video at all into
collections and i've trie every format and size but it keeps saying that the
file "could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is corrupted." ...

Thought I was almost done but I cannot get some of the songs on my storyboard
to transition into one another. Others transition fine. All were downloaded
the same way MP3. If I click on the storyboard the song will play but not

Thank you for trying to help me yesterday. I have decided to start over on my
creation because I cannot get my movie to play. I would like to be able to
import pictures as overlays on top of another still picture - no videos
involved. Does your software do that? Can you please give me some simple
directions ...
