Dear all,
My computer starts, but after it does when i try to open an application i
get an erro message failed to initialize properly (0Xc0000142)
click ok to terminate the application.
I could not terminate it even though i clicked OK.

unable to open hyperlinks in email

I have tried various ways to fix this problem with no such luck. I am using
windows xp service pack 3 and windows 2007. When i click on hyperlinks
contained in emails, I get the error message that the application was not
found or that no program is registered. What do I do? ...

XP client not changing logon script

Just changed the profile settings for one user in AD to use a
different logon script.
When she logs on to an XP client, it still runs the previously
assigned logon script.
I have tried having her log off then log on several times, and no
effect. It just does
not see that she should use the currently assigned ...

I have just noticed that KB951748 which was issued a few months ago, has not
installed on my xp home operating system. It keeps trying but failing, with
an error message from the system log:....
Windows XP KB951748 installation failed.
Access is denied.
What is causing this?

WIndows Install box flashing

I have the same problem as Dakota in his 12/23/05 "Windows Installer
Problems" post: whenever I start up IE, the Windows Installer box flashes
multiple times with the message "Preparing to install" but does nothing.

We have a customer that is requesting the definition and use of the 2
Property options "Link Wakeup" on both LAN cards in the system.
This is under Properties for either card, Advanced tab, as listed in the
Property list.
Anyone have a precise answer we can give him?

install, so I deleted the partition holding XP Pro, but now when I try to
install the XP Pro from OEM CD, it gets through formatting and stops because
