How can I tell which SATA port a particular drive is on?

I have five harddisks running just now. Of these five I have two identical
models and want to remove one. By shutdown and pulling leads I could find
out which port is the one to remove but I am curious to learn if there is a
way to read the 0-5 port number from within XP to check against the drive,

stuck in safe mode

Hi all,
A computer of mine is currently stuck in safe mode. It does not start up
normally anymore. An extra problem is that I cannot log in when the computer
is in safe mode.

Unable to change the non-unicode settings to Chinese (PRC)

I recently installed the eastern asian languages and then went to the
advanced tab but when I try to change the non-unicode settings to Chinese
(PRC), it gives me an error stating that "Setup is unable to install the
chosen locale. Please contact your System Administrator."

Safe to delete registry keys to uninstalled programs?

I want to know if it is safe to delete items in the registry that look like

double-clicking file locks up directory

When I try to open Microsoft files (.pdf file open just fine) by
double-clicking, the folder containing the file locks up and file does not
open. This has started recently.
Another recent change (related?) is that all clicking all links in Outlook
e-mails locks up Outlook.
Any suggestions?

Safemode no mouse

I went into safemode for the first time in so many years, but the mouse does
not work in that mode. The pointer will not move no matter how much I move
my mouse. As a result nothing can be done. Is there anything I can do about
it?
