xp won't recognise third SATA drive

Have been using XP Pro with an AsRock ConroeXFire-eSata2 mobo and two sata
HDDs and it' s been nice and stable.
Now trying to add a third SATA drive but although the BIOS sees the third
drive it doesn't show in XP (neither an icon in my computer nor in Disk
Management.)

Using SCSI_PASS_THROUGH with a lower device

From within a device driver I need to pass an asynmchronous SCSI request
down to a "lower device". In the past, I have always passed the request
to the lower driver using the ASPI miniport driver.
This doesn't work with USB based devices, so I am trying to use the

Hi all, I have a big problem. I've bought a new PC, which has windows
vista, but I don't like that windows so I changed it to XP. But when I
am downloading driver for XP my sound doesn't work. All other things
work etc but sound does not.

Go to the web site of the sound card manufacturer. You should be able to
download the right drivers, if your sound card is compatible with XP.:)

High definition audio drivers won't install

I have an Asus mobo with high definition sound integrated.
When I try to install the drivers from the CD or Asus website, the
installation works for about 90% then it fails.
I get a message saying configuration is incorrect.
Can anyone help?

Onboard sound

My onboard sound has to have the drivers re loaded everytime I reboot the
computer. It is turned on in the bios ok. Been working for years but
suddenly something is either disabling them or removing them at shut down.

I already have made my USB driver. But I have no clue as how to establish the relation with a standard COM port and modem.
