TweakUI Auto logon

On my XP Pro PC I use PowerToys TweakUI and I have enabled 'Log on
automatically at system startup'. Occasionally when I reboot I still
get the logon screen. And the TweakUI setting has become unchecked.
Anyone have any idea why that might happen please? Never happened in
5/6 years with my last (XP Home) PC.

R-click create new Word doc (not docx)

Using WinXP Home SP2 with Office 2007.
When I r-click on my desktop and choose New | New Microsoft Office Word
Document, it creates a .docx document by default. I would rather it
create a 97-2003 compatible .doc instead.
How do I do this?

Blurry Text

I'm having issues with my computer. The text always seems to be blurred. I
have a high resolution setting, 1600X1024. My video card is a 512 MB, 128
bits, GeForce 8600GTS (which is a very good card). Reading news on the

Printer freezing after one page

I have a problem with printing documents.
One page only will print but then the process freezes at 99% after the
first page. When you "OK" to cancelling the print request it stays in
the print queue.
The only way to get the print request finalised is to log off.
Any suggestions?

XP Logoff dialog now '98 style (1071 in shell32.dll)- Oops!

Hi, the logoff dialog now appears to be using dialog 1071 in shell32.dll,
which uses the smaller 98 style logoff, not the newer XP one, 1089.
How do I reset it to what it should be in XP (dialog 1089 in shell32.dll)?
