Scheduling daily computer start-up

For some unknown reason, my computer no longer starts up automatically in
the morning and I don't recall how to reschedule it. This may have started
when daylight savings ended. Where do I go to reschedule? Thanks for any

Changing icon for e.g. Excel

dragged the .exe version to my desktop, right-clicked on the icon and
selected the option 'change icon'. But I can only select from a pre-defined

Unplugged for move -- on power up, clock shows unplug date/time

PC disconnected 11/24 at 10pm for move on 11/25. Powered up 11/25 at 7pm,
but shows 11/24 10pm. Is this something that should not be, or did I just
not wait long enough before manually fixing it? It is a Dell Dimension L_r

Cut and paste with Remote Desktop is failing, and causing crashes

failing, both within the same window and between windows.

updates. When I hit ALT CTR DEL to taskmanager comes up showing the graphs
but NOT the tabs which would let me switch to processes and applications.(so
