Set as desktp background problems

when I first got my PC I could set my background image by right clicking any
of my picture files and simply press set as desktop background...some time
ago that function just stopped working does anyone know how to fix this

IE6 and IE7 crashes when accessing EXCEL and Word Docs from ShareP

Whenever I try to open an Excel or Word file in multiple SharePoint sites
from both a desktop and laptop I get the following error message and IE
crashes.

What is wmiprvse.exe? Its taking 50% of the Cpu Usage

Hi ,
I observ that many of the users are complaining that system is slow, When i
checked in services wmiprvse.exe is taking around 50% of the CPU usage.
Please provide the solution to resolve the issue.

Some Systems Services Will Not Start.

Don't know the history because it's not my pc. The in-laws computer will not
load it's audio device because it can't start the service. Likewise, I can't
re-install Diskeeper because it can't start the service. Event Loggiging,
which in theory can't be stopped, is still set to Automatic start but is
stopped.

Clock keeping time too fast

Hi again. Here is my newest issue. First off, running on Windows XP Home,
SP3. Out of nowhere, my clock is now keeping time too fast. I noticed it
this morning and manually changed it back to the right time but here I am
again with it running about 45 minutes fast. I don't know if it will stay 45

I noticed that many files in \windows\system32 directory became "unsigned"
while
they ought to be "signed" (I checked this on another machine runnnig the
same version of XP).
