command line question

I've lost my standard command line default path which used to be C:\Documents
and Settings\my username
It now defaults to G:> which at my site is a network drive. How do I reset
it back to the default path?

Suddenly got message "you cannot eject your computer because one of the
devices in the docking station "ECP Printer(LPT1) cannot be stopped because a

The STRETCH, CENTER, TILE commands are ignored when setting up a Desktop
Picture
The system stretches the pictures regardless if CENTER is chosen.
This feature has worked well for over 2 years.
This feature stopped working about 2 weeks ago.
I have no idea why.
