DCOM Config Folder Suddenly Missing Most COM Objects

I am running WinXP SP2.
I originally had all sorts of COM modules displayed in the Component
Services MMC "DCOM Config" folder. Suddently - most of them have
dissapeared.
I need them urgently (e.g., Varios MS-SQLSERVER objects are missing, despite
the fact that SQL Server is installed, etc.).

OK, Just received a new DELL Prec. 4300 w/WinXP. When I put in a CD, like a
install disk the CD rom drive just spins and will not launch the install
program, tried many. This is also true for USB drives that have
initialization programs built in like the cruze drives.
If I put in a movie dvd it launches ...

I have XP sp2 and outlook Express, 6 after a simple resize of photos wants me
to add profiles and path to Mail in exchange wizard pop up box.
