Re-format now drive letters wrong

Hi
I did a major reformat today. After installing the operating system (XP) I
realised that the drive letters are wrong. My card readers are C,D,E and F ,
DVD drives are G and H and the poor old hard drive is I.
How do I get them back to their rightful titles and will changing them cause
problems?

Problem with overwriting dll's

Hi:
Not sure which group to post this to.
Had a client pick up a used Dell laptop from a utility surplus outlet.
Drives were wiped so they took it to a shop to have OS installed. Shop
put on original Dell version of OS then applied updates.

Error registering windows script component

My computer won't boot. It always prompts me to insert system disk. I made
it certain that there is no diskette in the floppy drive and my BIOS is
configured to make the computer boot from the hard drive. I have windows
xp, Compaq system (HP).
