Trying to change to new system drive: hal.dll error

My C: drive (WD 80 Gig SATA) is getting crowded so I bought a new Seagate

Cant install windows, and DLLs are missing.

things up on my computer such as my sound card and my D drive.
Also when i try and update windows with my Windows XP home edition(SP2) it

Power management flakiness

Hi -- I have a new laptop running XP2 SP3. When I configure the power
management options to blink off the screen after 1 minute, (I use it plugged
in, so that is where the setting is), it does that -- sometimes. But even
when it does, it comes back on to stay after another minute. Totally
maddening. Anyone ...

I can not see my folders and files in windows explorer, ican see the drives
(C, D, E)
But when i try explore or open them, win-explorer shows me nothing.
I still have the files and the folders, because when i write yhe route in
adresses i can see them and also open them.

I noticed a heavily defragged file of 28 MB in my Diskeeper defragmentation
logfile and wanted to delete it. But when I go to the folder where it is
located it is not there. I have already used Internet Explorer's empty cache

I have the same problems as Ollie, but when I open My Computer and do right
click on the screen, there is no select disconnect for any drives that are
unavailable. I tried searching in help with the word "disconnect" and was
not able to come up with any similar resolution. My slow file, open seemed
to happ ...
