I recently switched over from Windows 98SE to XP (was on SP2 and for a
while, then upgraded to SP3). There's a recurring phenomenon in XP
that's been puzzling me. Sometimes when I try to edit a folder name,
move a folder, or delete a file within a certain folder, I get a

Downloaded SP3 ... where is it?

I downloaded SP3 from the MS website after the SystemRestore and it said it
installed, then when I clicked finish a CMD window came up and the words
"Access Denied" rolled down the window about 7 to 10 times. What does that
mean and how can I tell if SP3 installed or not?
