How is it that executables just vanish?
I've had operational programs the system suddenly can't find. Thinking
maybe the paths got messed up (registry?) I run Agent Ransack and they are
completely missing from the whole hard drive.
This has happened half a dozen times in the last year.

Cannot start Win Media Player

I run Windows XP Home. Long ago, I installed Windows Media Player v.11. It
worked fine until a few days ago when I was unable to open it and got a
message <log off Windows, log on and turn on Win Media Player>. Logged off

Standby dont work

Question On Disk Defrag

I have an external, 500gb HD. I did the "analyze" using defrag and there
is at least half the disk showing free space at the beginning of the
drive.
Would there be any benefit to putting the contiguous files at the beginning
of the drive and the free space at the end ?? Thank you.

Passwords not saved anymore

I use Firefox mostly but sometimes IE if needed. I've told both of these
to save passwords. A short time ago no IDs and passwords were saved for
any site, even those that always recalled them.
The settings are still "save passwords."
Does anybody have any idea why this is happening. I think this happened ...

can not switch user

User' it just dismisses it as nothing and just does nothing leaving it on the
