IE 7 Frame too large

I have an IE 7 in Win XP. Just noticed that when IE is maximized, the left
edge of it window goes out of the viewable area. I adjusted the screen on
the monitor, but the left edge of IE frame is lost anyway. Three other sides
are OK.
I guess that IE .ini file got corrupted somehow. Is there a way to adjust ...

Wireless connection bubble appears

I keep getting a bubble appearing from the task bar saying wireless
connection is now connected.
It is always connected, so why do I keep getting the message and how do I
stop it?

Cannot install monitor drivers

Monitor is Benq LCD.
When I try to install the drivers....
Monitor > Default monitor > properties is greyed out
Adapter > properties > Vga Save
I click driver then current status is 'started' then nothing happens.

defragmenting question

well my computer only has 3% free space, no its not top of the line or have
the amount of memory that a REAL computer would have, so eventually i will
need to buy some more memory.

A small window opens each time I log on stating: Windows cannot open this
file.Microsoft Works Calendar Reminders_lnk_clndisk_backup ('lnk' or
'ink'). To open this file Windows needs to know what program created it.
Windows can go online to look it up automatically or you can manually
select from a list of ...

Newbie Wireless Question

I have a laptop which came with WinXP Home plus a Wireless card. I never
used the wireless, since the computer has been exclusively at home. At some
point in the past, I dimly recall doing something to remove the Wireless so
its icon no longer appeared in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Need a DVD backup program recommendation
