I have a vb.net winforms application which will be our user interface to
maintain virtual catalogs.
All the adding and deleting of items is done on arrays. After the user
decides that the changes are correct, he runs the process that updates the
catalog.

What will be the easiest way to add items to virtual catalog categories? or,
if I already have items (rules) and categories in a virtual catalog, how do I
