CMS not exporting links within an xmlplaceholder

Does anyone have any experience with installing MCMS2002 on Windows Server
2008.
I enabled all features in the IIS server role, including the IIS6
compatibility features.
But the MCSM setup keeps telling me the World Wide Web Publishing Services

At the moment, we run CMS 2002 , and develop using VS 2003. Is it possible
to use VS2005 or better still VS 2008 to develop with, and are they
