Can an HIS Client run in 64 bit mode on Windows 2003 Server X64? I am
interested in interfacing an MSMQ-MQ Series Bridge client running in 64 bit
mode to an MQ Series queue running on a 32 bit Windows Server. Please

How to create an TN320 LUA pool

On my test HIS Server I have tried to create an LUA pool with 4 LU's in it.
I have created a single user and pointed that to the pool.
On my laptop I have set up a TN3270 client and tried to get 4 sessions up
using the user id above.
I would like to be able to create pools in a similar manner to the LU2 poo ...

The server is configured with 100 3270 screen LU's and 9 3270 LU3 printers.
Every now and then a desktop client in Samoa complains that the MS SNA 3270
Client does not get the normal VTAM logon screen.
All users are in a seperate pool for each Island.
The issue seldom happens for the likes of Fiji & PapuaNe ...

Can HIS link to AS400 via TCP/IP?

Hi All,
As you can see I know very little about HIS.
We need to know if HIS can link to iSeries only via tcp/ip.
The iSeries is setup to use only tcp/IP.
As HIS came from SNA server; the theory here is that HIS can only use
SNA to link to the iSeries (mainframe).

Well, as usual, I have a question. I have His2000 connected to a mainframe
using DLC to provide LU3270 an LUA access to my TCP/IP network. The
mainframe now has a Ethernet NIC and TCP/IP and we are using it to transfer
files via FTP.
Can I use TCP/IP instead of DL ...

I downloaded the trial version of HIS 2004 and have beeen using it for a
little while. We decided to buy the license for this product. I have gotten
the new software. I would like to upgrade the license only can this be done
or is it going to require a new install? I really do not wnat ot loose
