IBM z/OS upgrade to v1.7 and HIS 2004 print issues

We recently upgrade our Mainframe OS to v1.7 (from 1.4) and we had a lot of
trouble getting our SNA print environment working.. here is an excert from
our mainframe team. Does anyone know what could be going wrong? We really
do not have any kind of error messages to work with, only behavior

user interface but I want to develop my own TI injector.
Does anyone have already played with the DLLs coming with the Host
Integration Server 2006 ?

I am new to HIS and have no mainframe experience, however looking at these
posts it seems to me I can not use HIS 2006 to convert/import a mainframe
file into ascii. We get mainframe files from a vendor that conform to a
copybook. The copybook imports nicely using the Host file project, however I

Thanks for the heads-up. It looks like IBM has it in for MPTN and
AnyNet in a big way!
I have warned the CICS-L subscribers who were using TCP62 and were
faced with installing z/OS V1.8 and whom I've alerted to this
"solution" that it may be a reprieve rather than a release. It always
