Can you put a Web-Part from main site also on a subsite?

I have an announcements webpart and would like to also have that appear on a
subsite. Problem is when i go to add a webpart ot the subsite it doesn't list
the announcements as an option.
I see an option to import but i see no export from the main site.
I want the announcements to be updated once and appear ...

I'm doing a WSS lookup and my CAML query is using a Contains clause to
do searching across a few fields.

SPS - Cannot Delete SPFolder

Hi,
I have some web services that use the SPS API. While I can create a folder,
move files from folder to folder, one thing i cannot do is delete a folder.
However, I can delete a DocumentLibrary.
This snippet of code creates a folder in SPS for me - no problem:

Storing Hidden fields in newform.aspx

Does anyone know how to store a parameter from the URL into a hidden field in
newform.aspx. For instance, I pass the newform.aspx a ID from the previous
form and store the ID into a field called parentID I created in a Custom
List.
