Hi,
I am new to SP.
Is it possible to get programatic access to the SP SQL database, and manage
it within our SQL Server ? I think it is a 'Systems database' which does not
seem to be accessible from SQL Server management studio.

I have a list that has a lot of variables for a specific column. I
would like to do a form webpart that people can enter a partial value
and the list connected to the form would return all occurrences.
Example:
user enters :Lisa

Does anyone know which is the API or underlying service used by
sharepoint 2003 for user authorization?

Hi,
Whenever I do 'Upload multiple documents' I see that the files I've just
uploaded are appeared as checked-out by me (it's ok), but nobody except me
can see them since then. The same way is with 'Open with Windows Explorer'.
On 'Upload document' there's option to check-in the file, so it can be done
