Receive location for EDI can't be changed

Got an odd problem here. When we go into the Biztalk Administration
Console, then Adapters->EDI Adapter->ReceiveHander-><hostname>, click on
properties then under FileSystem/Account set the incoming folder to say
C:\EDIFILES it does not try to use that folder. We've even rebooted the

FTP Receive locations

Hi,
I have a problem trying to ftp from a legacy server due to the server's
naming conventions. I can connect ok and pull back the file, but once inside
BizTalk it then (I think) attempts to parse the file as a folder rather than
a file and falls over.
The naming convention for inbound files is filenam ...

Handling EOF Marker

I have a flat file with an EOF character at the end (ASCII value 26).
What's the secret to parsing this file without errors? I've tried consuming
it with an extra child record and element (and it picks it up correctly) but
no matter what I do, I always get the error:
hexadecimal value 0x1A, is an invalid ...
