Removing unwanted trailing characters from flat file

What is the easiest way to remove unwanted characters from the end of a flat
file before it gets transformed in an orchestration?
I have files coming from a vendor that often have an extra 0x0A on the end.
I'd like to get rid of it OR modify the schema so that it ignores it if it's
there, but I haven't be ...

Avoiding padding when assembling positional record

Hi
I have a flat file delimited schema.
One element contains positional data. The final positional record can
be up to 15 characters long, but when assembling a native instance of a
message, if the input valuefor it is less than 15 characters, I need to
NOT pad out to 15 characters.
Any ideas?
