We have a BizTalk 2009 app that converts EDIFACT to XML.
Sometimes the suppliers send faulty messages to us, and they get stopped in

I see some odd behaviour on my biztalk production machine and I can't explain

In the adapter we set properties on the message, which is picked up by the
FTP adapter, such as OutboundTransportLocation, Username and Password. So

BizTalk Server 2009 Admin console,
if I go to Adapters .. SMTP .. Send ..
and set my SMTP server and OK..
It doesn't show when I open the next time.
Neither Restart Instance and/or Refresh helps.
However the setting seems to be stored (SMTP Send works)
and if I restart the BizTalk Admin Console, ...

Scheduled receive file, how to?

My goal is to get the files from a receive endpoint at a scheduled
interval. I am looking at scheduled task adapter, it should fit the
schdedule requirenment. But how can I initialize a receive port
without having to place it in the first shape in the orchestration? ...
