Exchange Front End Setup Question

We currently have Exchange 2000 running our email.
For a variety of reason, we do not want to upgrade that server to Exchange
2003 right now.
We need to setup a front end exchange server for security reason for

Prolonged "Loading" at OWA

My Exchange 2000 server is working fine with the regular Outlook client.
However, with OWA, it only shows the word "Loading..." at right column, and
five icons (Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, Options, Logg Off" under the tab
"Shortcuts."
Of the five icons "Calendar, Options, and Log Off" worked when clicked; ...
