System Attendant service took 10 minutes to start

Every time I restart my exchange2000 SP3 server (running over Windows 2000
Server STD SP4), de System attendant services, appears as starting for about
10 minutes, and therefore the Information Store and the MTA also dont start.
Is there any obvious reason why my server is behavin like this??? this

I'm using Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 Adv Srvr box.
When I send an email to a particular external recipient I get an NDR that
reads:
550 SMTP; 501 INVALID HOST NAME & THEN IT LISTS MY MAILSERVER & DOMAIN NAME.

Hoping someone can help with this.....
We have several Outlook clients connected to an Exchange 2000 server. I'd
like to have particular folders delete old mail based on how old the mail
is. This requirement appears to be met by the 'Auto Archive - Delete files
permanently' feature, but it doesn' ...
