Restore Information Store with Different Server Name

my Information Store and format the entire server (the server name was
rumpfnt2). I reinstalled everything back to original settings but gave the

Mailbox Size Mismatch

I have a user on an Exchange 2000 SP3 server. When I go into System Manager
and look at his mailbox, it tells me that his mailbox is 154MB.
If I open up his mailbox in Outlook 2003 (without caching any messages
locally) and click on Tools --> Mailbox Cleanup... --> View Mailbox Size...

Since my inplace upgrade from E2000 to E2003 SP1, on a reboot, I
get Event id 623. I just found a KB article which deals with this issue.

Information store mailbox retention

I have deleted mailbox from exchange 5.5 /win2k sp4. I can still see few of
mailboxes in server--> server name-->information store--> mailbox resource.
Few yrs back i remember that I have to execute admin in raw mode ( admin /r )
and there I have to increase some value ID for such mailbox ( around 6 or 7 )

Weird Outlook+OWA+Database prob

Using Exchange 2003 with Win2003 with all SP's and hotfixes installed
Clients are all connected via HTTPs over RPC
One of the client deleted about 200 emails of approx 500 emails from his

OWA and Public folders - permissions

The users where I work like to drag and drop files directly into
Public Folders without attaching them to messages. This seemed to work
fine for them when we were on Exhange 2000, but after upgrading to
2003, they get 'HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden' when they try to access
these files from Public folders in OWA. ...

I have a client that would like to share documents within exchange, nothing
too complicated and it has to be simple for the end user. How do I create a
public folder that will hold documents? Would it make more sense to create a
MS sharepoint server and integrate that with exchange? If yes does anyone
