Replay Log Files after Crash
Thu, 3 Nov 2005 17:37:02 -0800
My exchange 2000 server crashed and the last backup was corrupted. The only
thing I could recover were the log files. I could only restore the databases
from a very old backup (1 year ago) and successfully mounted the mailbox
store.
To recover my recent data I only need to replay the log files to the

Backup failure points to corrupt data that can't be found
Thu, 27 Oct 2005 12:37:15 -0700

mailboxes through an Exchange agent. When the backup job gets to one user's
mailbox, it generates errors that report the mailbox has corrupt ite ...

that the store needs to be dismounted during this procedure.
