subject line cannot display Japenese characters

Hi,
I am running Exchange 2000+sp3 on Windows 2000+SP4 server.
I have japanese and english users using Win XP + Office XP Japanese Version.
recently i restored messages using exmerge utility.I cannot see japanese
characters in the subject line (question mark and other characters are
visible) but message b ...

Junk E-mail folder was moved

Don't ask me how it happened, but one of my users seems to have moved their
Junk E-mail folder. Since it is a system folder I cannot fathom how this
occured. It is now a sub folder of a sub folder under their inbox. Trying to
move it back gives the message about being unable to move certain types of
folder ...

PleaseDoes anybody use a good email archiving solution?
Could you share your experiences? I want OWA, regular outlook, rpc over http
outllok to be able to dump and restore email from an archive repository.
I have heard symantec-vault and quest SW any comments?

I think everyone know the purpose of "Specify by email domain in the
Connection Tab of IMC in Exchange 5.5 "could anyone tell me where is that
option in Exchange 2003 or else how to configure one to send email directly
using DNS. Smarthost will not work i need for specific domain only.

Viewing Attachments in OWA

I'm using Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 Adv Srvr and I have a user stating
when he uses his home computer with Windows XP and opens his mailbox using
OWA he cannot view attachments. Normally in all other cases, when you open
an email in OWA, you will see the attachment name as a link in the head ...

When users goto webmail.xxx.xx
they recive the form where they input username and password but after
that notting happens
in the process line it times out.
this happnes sometimes...
and we can see that 40 users are o ...

Exchange 2003: Old calendar Items gone

Hello,
For some times, we saw that some items diapeared from some users calendar.
This are some old items before 2004. Not all users have this problems, just
some.
Is there a clean up time for calendering or is there another explanation?

Testing Exchange

I am introducing our first Exchange server into the company. We do not
have the liberty of a test environment, so that is that.
I have installed exchange and I would like to create some test accounts
to make sure it is fully functional, but I don't want to affect the
current mail program.
