Notification of post in Public folder

When items are posted to a public folder, how do I get Exchange (Outlook?) to
forward a generic notification to a distribution list? Using the Folder
Assistant in Outlook2003 will only;
a) reply to the person who makes the original post
b) forward the original post to all members of the DL

mailenable bad mail.

I have just set up a web server using mailenable for pop and smtp.
I have noticed a large amount of mail in the bad mail folder which
looks like spam being sent from postmaster@mydomain.com
What is bad mail?
Can anybody let me know exactly what is happening?
