Outlook dropping connectivity?

starting to see messages pop up on the workstations that read:

Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft Exchange Server

Routing incoming mail to another server

Hi,
I have Exchange 2000 server.
How can I route incoming mail to another SMTP and to another port.
IOW
Our exchange configuration have several domain names. Now there
is one spesific domain name ( let's say routethis.fi ) I want to
route to another SMTP server and to non standard port.

We are having some performance problems across our VPN tunnels. One of the
areas we are investigating is MTU size. Does anyone know how I can determine
the size of the packets that our servers are producing ?

When mail is sent from my domain to external email addresses, it uses the
internal (non-routable) domain name , e.g. mailserver.nonexistentdomain.loc,
which obviously causes mail to be rejected if it is checked for reverse dns
lookup. If I use the external fqdn of mailserver.valid_domain.com in the

PDA Half Works

I have a user with a new PDA. He wants to use it to receive and send e-mail
when he's out, which is quite often.
I have set up IMAP4 for this purpose and he can indeed receive e-mail. The
sending only half works, in that he can send to anyone on the Exchange
server, in his domain, but cannot send to ...

Cannot receive email from one domain

We have an exchange 200 server. We can receive email from all domains except
one.
The sender eventually gets a message of "Connected to 204.26.86.37 but
connection died. (#4.4.2)
