Strange problem with SMTP connection from outside

This is the scenario:
I have a server with Windows Server 2003, Active Directory and Exchange
Server
2003. It is a Domain Controller.
It connects to Internet using DSL and WITHOUT firewall enabled (since IP is
dynamic, I'm using ICS).

message queue in "Messages pending submission"

Hi,
We have 3 Exchange 2003 server , one for smtp server and the other two
server for mail storage. It is work very well.
However if we change the smtp server to Front end server then all the
message will queue in "Messages pending submission" folder. Please help !!

Dear All
the idea which i was trying to implement to have only one Physical server,
installed on it Exchange server 2003 with Multiple Recipient Update Policy to
server multiple SMTP Domain hosted in USA and to use ONE POP3 downloader like
GFI has been refused at all from my management .

Can/t send/receive external eMail

For some unknown reason all of a sudden no one at our office can send or
receive outside eMail. Internal mail on the exchange server works just fine,
but external is a NO GO. I can ping mail.myserver.org just fine so I assume
the MX record is in tact. The firewall has port 25 open to the exchange
