POP3 and now we have an MX record pointing the IP address of my Netgear
firewall. Within the firewall I am using port forwarding to forward port 25

Recently changed from static ip to dynamic ip - simple exchange server setup.
all is well except some sites subscribe to a list of dynamic ip ranges
(supplied by ISPs) so the result is my outgoing email is blocked. I'm told
the solution is to send your smtp traffic through your ISP. Seems reasonable

Problems retrieving mail from isp accounts

Recently, I had to perform un update of an Exchange Server 2000 to SP2.
Since then, e-mails are retrieved from the ISP accounts but not deliverd to
the users. I set the logging level to maximum for pop and smtp services, but

Cisco Router. Last week, we got a new internet service, and a new Cisco
Router.
