best way to backup EDB ?

can i backup the EDB without taking exchange offline ?

bulk folder rights

I have to set folder rights for several hundred users (set ROLE_NONE for
Anonymous user). Is there any tool or script avaliable out there which I
can use?
I tried Kevin Spoon's setperm.exe unfortunately the program can't set
Anonymous rights (onyl default or specified User).

How to mail-enable bulk import users

Hi all--
I recently imported several hundred external contacts into AD using the
Bulk Import utility. Can someone tell me how to mail-enable all of these
users simultaneously? The idea of right-clicking and mail-enabling hundreds
of contacts one at a time is a bit daunting.

X400 Vs SMTP connectors

We need to replicate two exchange servers, one of them is Exchange 5.5 and
the other one is Exchange 2000. The problem is that we used X400 connectors
in our Exchange 5.5 and SMTP connectors in the Exchange 2000.
Is there any problem to interconnect both using SMTP connectors???
