I have Exchange 2000 and Windows 2000 server.
I just want to know is there a way to restore mailboxes and public folders
from .EDB files or any other files?

I have colleagues who are disabling the users (with a mailbox) when the user
is moving to other office. When all paper work is done, they are enabling the

I have a a server with Win 2000 serve, exchange 2000 joined to our domain as
member server. For a reason i disjoined this server from the domain, and
then I rejoined it again. Now all the services that are related to MS
exchange are running. does anyone have any solution?

We have to move our existing mailboxes from our personnel to another
domain.
Now we want to create .pst files with exmerge, store them in the home
folder of each staff member on domain A and import them from the home
folders to the server on domain B.

We are having trouble creating mailboxes.
When we create a new user, we automatically let exchange create a
mailbox.
Now we created two new users but the mailboxes are not created and the

Calendar entries are off by a day?

We have an issue where a user has her calendar open and also is viewing
entries for a group calendar. The entries for the group calendar are coming

Change Password with OWA - error 5

I have implemented the steps necessary to allow people to change their
password using OWA. This works fine for people in house. However if
someone outside of our network connects using OWA and the password expired
box appears, when they change get error number 5 as a result. Has anyone
seen this before ...

Our Exchange database size

We are running Exchange 2000 Standard.
What governs the size of the database? The number of users? The amount of
mail in their mailbox? If I move more users' mail off the server and onto
local PST files, will it create more room?

I am having an issue where my Exchange 2000 SMTP-connection to my SMTP
host(Mcafee SCM 320 box) drops off like every 10 minutes. I have been
investigating this for a long time and have not found the cause.
