Binding 2 IPs on 1 Exchange server 2000

Our working environment currently consists of 2 subnets, say 10.1.1.0/24 and
10.2.1.0/24. Then DCs, GCs and Exchange server(10.1.1.200) all resisdes on
10.1.1.0/24 and serve well for users in 10.1.1.0/24. However, when users in
10.2.1.0/24 access the exchange server via Outlook, delays prompts

If the company is an NT4 domain with Exchange 5.5 running, is it possible to
in-place upgrade the domain to AD-2003?
I would think that the presence of Exchange 5.5 would mean that this domain
can NOT be in-place upgraded to AD..
Any ideas?

What happens to Exchange 2000 after in-place upgrade of NT?

Here is the scenario:
DOMAIN_A = NT4 domain , 1000 user accounts, no exchange server.
DOMAIN_B = W2k Domain with Exchange 2000; This domain is hosting the
mailboxes for DOMAIN_A users. (2 way trust relationship exists).
DOMAIN_A will now undergo an in-place upgrade to Win2k and join the DOMAIN_B

Does anyone know how to set up emails that come into a particular account to
be forwarded to an external email such as hotmail/yahoo. I set up the SMTP
but that seems to work in the reverse ie if an email is sent to yahoo etc it
goes to that address in the server anyone know how to do the reverse? ...
